Sitka Hits 1 g/t Gold Over 152 Metres, Unlocks Third Deposit At RC Gold

Sitka Gold (TSXV: SIG) has confirmed a third intrusion-related gold deposit at its 100%-owned RC Gold project in Yukon’s Tombstone belt, reporting long, near-surface intercepts from the first two 2025 holes at the Rhosgobel target.

The newly released assays, drilled roughly five kilometres south of the flagship Blackjack deposit, show broad mineralized envelopes beginning almost at surface. Assay highlights include:

  • DDRCRG-25-003: 1.00 g/t gold over 152.1 metres from 3m depth
    • Including 4.23 g/t over 9.0m
    • And 2.75 g/t over 10.0m
  • DDRCRG-25-005: 1.11 g/t gold over 114.8 metres from 4.2m depth
    • Including 3.28 g/t over 14.9 m
    • And 3.50 g/t over 8.6m

“Results such as those seen in DDRCRG-25-003 suggest that the Rhosgobel intrusion hosts grades comparable to Blackjack,” said CEO Cor Coe. “Every hole reported so far from Rhosgobel tops 100 gram-metres, underscoring the scale of this newly discovered deposit.”

Two diamond rigs are currently turning at Rhosgobel. Eighteen holes—totaling around 4,600 metres—have been completed this season; assays are pending on 14 of them, and visible gold has been noted in 14 of the 18 holes drilled to date.

The Rhosgobel work is part of a 30,000-metre diamond campaign that has already drilled 21,347 metres in 58 holes across the Clear Creek Intrusive Complex. A second pair of rigs is currently testing the Pukelman intrusion—2.5 kilometres southeast of Blackjack—where historic drilling cut 10.7 metres of 20.46 g/t gold and surface sampling last year returned grab assays up to 67.9 g/t.

Company-wide, assays are outstanding for 43 holes split between the Blackjack–Saddle–Eiger trend, Rhosgobel, and Pukelman.

The 431-square-kilometre property lies midway between Victoria Gold’s Eagle Mine and Banyan Gold’s AurMac project, two of the highest profile examples of the reduced intrusion-related gold system that characterizes Yukon’s Tombstone belt.

Sitka Gold last traded at $0.75 on the TSX Venture.
