SKRR Exploration Completes Phase One Exploration At Olson Project, Drilling To Commence Later This Month

SKRR Exploration (TSXV: SKRR) this morning released results from its ohase one geological and geophysical program conducted at the Olson Property, located within the Trans Hudson Corridor. The program defined widespread gold mineralization in that of soil samples as well as rock chip samples, with 17 rock samples reporting over 1.0 g/t gold and 35 soil samples showing over 0.1 g/t gold.

The objective of the phase one program was to define drill targets for the second phase of exploration to be conducted this year, with drilling to begin on the property later this month. Soil sampling, prospecting, field mapping and channel sampling were under taken in addition to a 13-line geophysical study to identify these targets.

This field work was conducting on numerous areas of the property, include Juba, Jena, Point, Ackbar, Tuscan, Olson and Dosko-Siskin showings. Prospective targets within Point and Juba areas were subject to channel sampling as a result of findings by the exploration team as well as historical results.

The Juba-Jena showing saw a total of 27 rock samples gathered, with four returning assays of over 1.0 g/t gold. The highlight of these samples include a sample showing 14.7 g/t gold. 16 rock chip samples were also taken, with the highlight value from these including 2.9 g/t gold from a 0.75 metre chip sample. A mineral strike length of over 1.0 kilometre is believed to be on this region of the property.

The Point-Ackbar showing, located 1500 metres southwest of Jena, with channel sampling consisting of a total of 20 samples taken over 17 metres of length. Highlights values from this surface exploration include 1.54 g/t gold over 1.05 metres, with 0.377 g/t gold being seen on average over the 17 metre length. 43 grab samples were also conducted at point, with the highlight value being 4.4 g/t gold, while Ackbar was subject to 7 grab samples with a highlight value of 2.5 g/t gold.

Drilling on the Olson property, which is 75% owned by SKRR, is set to commence in late September 2020 following the successful fieldwork conducted earlier this year.

SKRR Exploration last traded at $0.46 on the TSX Venture.
