Snowline Gold (TSX: SGD) continues to see success from infill drilling at the Valley deposit, part of the larger flagship Rogue Project in the Yukon. The company this morning released further assay results from a drill program designed to further de-risk the resource.
Highlights from the results include:
- V-25-GT-007: 1.00 g/t gold over 347.6 metres from a depth of 2.9 metres
- Including 4.46 g/t gold over 12.5 metres
- V-25-153: 2.09 g/t gold over 79.0 metres from a depth of 21.0 metres
- V-25-154: 1.58 g/t gold over 128.0 metres from a depth of 31.00 metres
Holes V-25-153 and V-25-154 were both designed to convert inferred resources to higher confidence levels within the core of the deposit. Hole V-25-GT-007 meanwhile was designed as a geotechnical hole designed to support mine planning scenarios, with the hole encountering mineralization on the northwestern edge of the deposit.

Valley overall saw 20,000 metres of drilling conducted last year, with drilling demonstrating that a broad low-grade hole exists around the core deposit. Potential is said to exist for further zones of high grade mineralization within the Valley system.
Eight holes meanwhile were focused on a new eastern zone of mineralization, which currently measures 700 x 400 x 200 metres in size. The zone is found “several hundred metres” from the edge of the current resource outlined at Valley, with a weighted average grade of 0.34 g/t gold. The zone is being viewed as an indicator of further potentially high grade centers of mineralization.
Separately, Snowline’s Cynthia Project has seen the identification of the Crossroad Target following field exploration. Gold mineralization is said to have been found in area measuring 1,000 metres by 300 metres, with samples returning values of up to 13.1 g/t gold and 3,505 g/t silver. Further surface evaluations are said to be warranted in advance of potential future drilling.
Snowline Gold last traded at $18.22 on the TSX.
