Talisker Resources (TSX: TSK) is set to transition away from utilizing Nicola Mining’s (TSXV: NIM) processing facilities in Merritt, BC, following a new arrangement with Ocean Partners. The company has entered into binding terms for an ore purchase agreement, alongside a revolving credit facility, which will be focused on the Bralorne Gold project.
The ore purchase arrangement will see Ocean Partners purchase up to 1,500 tonnes per day worth of ore from Bralorne for an initial seven year period. The transaction will enable Talisker to be able to ramp up milling operations from Bralorne to that target capacity of 1,500 tpd. Nicola’s facilities comparatively have a capacity of just 200 tpd.
The revolving credit facility with Ocean Partners meanwhile is for US$25 million, the funds from which will be used for development and working capital at the Bralorne Gold Project as needed.
Further details are expected to be provided upon the signing of a definitive agreement, which is anticipated to occur before the end of January 2026. The toll milling arrangement with Nicola meanwhile is expected to remain in place until the conclusion of the initial 12 month term, which expires in May 2026.
“These Agreements will provide Talisker with the ability to increase our milling capacity to up to 1,500 tpd securing our pathway to ramp up production and increase revenue as planned. Upon signing of the definitive agreements, Talisker will be able to commence ore shipments to Ocean Partners immediately. The long-term partnership with Ocean Partners provides operational security to achieve our vision of becoming a significant Canadian gold producer,” commented Terry Harbort, CEO of Talisker Resources.
Talisker Resources last traded at $1.47 on the TSX.
