The Valens Company Starts Trading On The Nasdaq

The Valens Company Inc. (TSX: VLNS) announced today its listing on the Nasdaq Capital Market. The cannabis firm will see its shares trade on the US big board under the symbol “VLNS”.

“Listing on Nasdaq is the next step to our capital markets strategy,” explained CEO Tyler Robson. “We believe this listing will enable Valens and its shareholders greater access to liquidity, increased corporate visibility, and a broader shareholder base, in an effort to create long-term shareholder value.”

The company’s shares will cease to trade on the OTCQX under the symbol “VLNCD” but shareholders are advised that no action is required related to the uplisting and the symbol change.

The Canadian firm continues to trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

The Valens Company Inc. last traded at $4.60 on the TSX.
