Aya Gold Hits 1,123 g/t Silver Over 1.7 Metres At Boumadine

Aya Gold & Silver (TSX: AYA) this morning released assay results from ongoing exploration at its Boumadine property.

The results come from a drill program conducted over late 2024 and early 2025, with the program said to have successfully extended the known mineralization at the Tizi zone by 200 metres to a total strike of 2.2 kilometres while identifying new mineralized structures regionally as well.

Highlights from the results include:

  • BOU-DD24-392: 1,123 g/t silver and 5.32% lead over 1.7 metres
  • BOU-DD24-440: 98 g/t silver, 1.39 g/t gold, 3.02% zinc and 1.8% lead over 16.8 metres
  • BOU-DD24-450: 35 g/t silver, 3.76 g/t gold over 10.6 metres
  • BOU-MP24-015: 774 g/t silver over 1.2 metres

A total of 117 holes have been completed across an aggregate 46,207 metres at Boumadine under the current program. Exploration was focused along strike at the Main Trend, Tizi, and the North-East zones. Continuity of the Main Trend has been confirmed, with strike now sitting at 5.4 kilometres, while the zone remains open in all directions.

At the same time, Aya has reportedly identified five regional targets over 20 kilometres of potential strike, which have yet to be tested. A total of 11 drill rigs are currently operating, with the intent to complete a drill program 100,000 to 140,000 metres in size.

Of the remaining metres, half are expected to be focused on the continued testing of Tizi and the Main Trend in advance of a planned PEA, while the other 50% of metres will be used for greenfield exploration.
