Aya Gold & Silver (TSX: AYA) this morning released a tranche of assay results from ongoing exploration at the Zgounder Mine in Morocco. The program encountered high grade silver mineralization at depth as the company works to expand known mineralization at the operation.
Highlights from the results include:
- ZG-RC-25-462: 502 g/t gold over 11.0 metres from a depth of 11.0 metres
- ZG-RC-25-478: 677 g/t silver over 15.0 metres from a depth of 3.0 metres
- Including 2,138 g/t silver over 3.0 metres
- DZG-SF-25-715: 1,972 g/t silver over 3.2 metres from a depth of 3.8 metres
- ZG-SF-25-336: 2,718 g/t silver over 1.3 metres from a depth of 389.0 metres
- T28-25-904: 1,631 g/t silver over 7.2 metres from a depth of 8.4 metres
- Including 3,100 g/t silver over 3.6 metres
- T28-25-942: 1,947 g/t silver over 6.0 metres from a depth of 20.4 metres
- Including 2,359 g/t silver over 4.8 metres
Year to date, a total of 21,314 metres in aggregate have been drilled under the current exploration program, with the program said to now be 85% complete. Assay results from a total of 169 holes were released this morning, including 54 underground holes. Full assay results can be found here.
