Ayr Strategies (CSE: AYR.a) this morning had a minor news release, wherein the firm announced that it will be changing its name. Effective February 12, the company will be known as Ayr Wellness.
The name change is said to “better reflect the mission to delivery the highest quality cannabis, the best customer experience, and to be a force of good.” Essentially, the company is looking to change its name to reflect the nature of its business.
Trading is expected to be uninterrupted on both the CSE and the OTCQX, however new CUSIP numbers will be issued for the subordinate, restricted and limited voting shares, as well as warrants, rights, and senior notes that trade on the CSE.
Ayr Strategies last traded at $46.40 on the CSE.
