Boston Beer Company Steps Into Cannabis Space Via Partnership With Entourage Health
Beverage alcohol continues to make inroads into the cannabis marketplace. The Boston Beer Company (NYSE: SAM) is the latest such major alcohol firm to do so, with Entourage Health (TSXV: ENTG) this morning announcing a new partnership with the firm.

The arrangement between the Canadian cannabis grower and the US-based beer maker will see a portfolio of non-alcoholic cannabis beverages produced in Canada. Working in conjunction with Peak Processing Solutions, the products are expected to see production begin in the fourth quarter of 2021.
The terms of the arrangement outline a five year agreement, wherein the Boston Beer Company will work with Peak Processing to develop cannabis beverages that use Entourage’s cannabis biomass at Peak’s processing facility. Entourage will then have exclusive distribution rights within Canada.
Products created under the partnership are to be branded under “newly-developed brands” from Boston Beer Co, with Entourage then licensing the brands from the company.
Boston Beer Co is reportedly entering the Canadian market while “continuing to gauge the regulatory environment in the U.S. for future expansion opportunities.”
The Boston Beer Company last traded at $576.72 on the NYSE.
