Brunswick Exploration Begins Winter Road Construction For Maiden Drilling At Elrond
Brunswick Exploration (TSXV: BRW) has begun exploring its Elrond project in the James Bay region of Quebec under a maiden drill program.
The program is targeting the Arwen spodumene-bearing pegmatite that was discovered last year at the project, which consists of a showing measuring 250 metres by 100 metres that dips to the north. Magnetic surveys conducted meanwhile suggest that the target is part of a structural corridor that measures 4.0 kilometres long and 500 metres wide.
Grab samples collected last fall at the pegmatite returned values between 1.0% and 3.0% Li2O. The pegmatite is said to contain a high grade spodumene zone that measures 75 metres by 15 metres, which contains up to 30% spodumene.

“In 2023, BRW made three significant grassroot discoveries including Mirage (where a winter campaign is currently underway), Arwen and Anatacau Main. With the start of another drilling campaign, BRW is aggressively advancing its portfolio and building upon its recent discoveries. I am particularly excited by the size of the Arwen showing and this new drill program will test the extension of the discovery at depth and along-strike with the goal to prove the potential of the Elrond project,” commented Killian Charles, CEO of Brunswick.
The size of the drill program was not provided, however Brunswick’s investor deck suggests it will be a smaller drill campaign when compared to the 10,000 metre campaign being conducted at the firms Mirage project. Winter roads are presently being constructed for the program, with drilling set to begin in March.
Brunswick Exploration last traded at $0.46 on the TSX Venture.
