Canada Nickel Hits 356.9 Metres Of 0.22% Nickel, Confirming New Discovery At Mann

Canada Nickel (TSXV: CNC) has confirmed this morning a new discovery at its Mann Property. The company indicated that it has delineated the discovery across a strike length of 2.5 kilometres following the receipt of final assay results from its maiden drill program at the property.

The discovery, referred to as Mann Central, has been confirmed following six drill holes conducted at the zone. Strike has been identified as 2.5 kilometres thus far, with the zone said to be at least 600 metres wide, while remaining open in all directions.

Highlights from the results include:

  • MAN23-08: 0.22% nickel over 356.9 metres, from a depth of 39.1 metres
  • MAN23-10: 0.21% nickel over 390.5 metres from a depth of 11.5 metres
  • MAN23-11: 0.17% nickel over 391.5 metres from a depth of 10.5 metres, including 0.33 g/t palladium, 0.22 g/t platinum over 28.5 metres
  • MAN23-12: 0.22% nickel over 387.2 metres from a depth of 14.8 metres

The drill program also saw the strike length of Mann Northwest extended to a length of 2.7 kilometres and a width of at least 500 metres, which remains open in all directions.

Highlights here include:

  • MAN23-06: 0.20% nickel over 395.1 metres from a depth of 6.9 metres
  • MAN23-14: 0.23% nickel over 390.0 metres from a depth of 30.0 metres

“Mann is an exceptionally large property with ultramafic targets extending beyond the township from Reaume through Mann and into Newmarket with a combined target strike length of over 25 kilometres. All fifteen initial holes at these first two targets successfully intersected large intervals of target mineralization. This area will be a focus of our exploration program in 2024,” commented Mark Selby, CEO.

Canada Nickel last traded at $1.34 on the TSX Venture.
