CloudMD Announces Immediate Resignation Of CFO For Personal Reasons

CloudMD (TSXV: DOC) this morning announced the transition of its chief financial officer, Daniel Lee. In the interim, the firms previous SVP of Finance, Sean Carr, will be taking on the role on an interim basis.

It’s unclear specifically what the terms of the departure of Lee are. While the company says that the resignation is for “personal reasons,” the departure is effective as of January 31, 2022, yet there is a planned transition in place that will see Lee remain available until March 31, 2022 for a transition period.

The company has now begun an executive search, highlighting that the replacement will be experienced in integrations, as well as focused on cost synergies, global expansion, and the shaping of long term strategy of the company.

Carr in the interim is reportedly now focused on the firms annual audit and the integration of recent acquisitions made by the company.

CloudMD last traded at $0.80 on the TSX Venture.
