Empower Clinics Enters Pilot Program With Save-On-Foods In BC
Empower Clinics (CSE: CBDT) this morning announced that it will be conducting a pilot program with that of Save-On-Foods. The program will see the retailer sell Empower’s Kai Care At Home COVID-19 and influenza A/B saliva test kits throughout multiple BC locations.
Under the pilot program, the saliva test kit will be available at an initial 11 locations through the Vancouver, lower mainland, and Okanagan regions of the province. Test kits will be sold under the Save-On, PriceSmart, and Urban Fare retail banners, all of which are part of the Pattison Food Group.
Results from the initial pilot are said to be evaluated by both parties to determine what the final arrangement will be in terms of expanding the distribution of the product. The Save-On brand and related banners currently have a total of 184 locations across Canada that are potentially available to Empower, should the pilot program show positive results.
