GCM Mining Produces 16,474 Gold Ounces In January 2022

GCM Mining Corp. (TSX: GCM) shared today the production results out of its Segovia operations for the month of January 2022. The firm produced a total of 16,474 gold ounces for the month, up from 15,055 ounces produced in January 2021.

The company has a new polymetallic plant in Segovia operating at 200 tonnes per day. The plant had been commissioned in Q4 2021 and continues to operate in test mode for the month.

The gold producer’s operation for the month came from processing a total of 42,015 tonnes, or 1,355 tonnes per day average throughput. These are increases from 41,426 tonnes and 1,336 tonnes per day from the year-ago period, respectively.

Average head grade for the month ended at 13.5 g/t gold compared to January 2021’s 12.6 g/t gold.

Meanwhile, the trailing 12-month production of the firm came to 207,808 gold ounces, up 1% from last year.

The mining company announced that it will release its full Q4 and annual 2021 results and 2022 guidance on March 31, 2022.

GCM Mining last traded at $5.59 on the TSX.
