Golden Cariboo Hits Visible Gold In New Discovery At Quesnelle Gold Property

Golden Cariboo Resources (CSE: GCC) is reporting the intersection of visible gold in ongoing drilling at its Quesnelle Gold property in British Columbia.
Visible gold was encountered in three drill holes that are yet to be assayed. The holes were targeting the Halo zone, with the early results said to potentially represent a separate trend from the North Hixon zone. A total of six holes have targeted the zone to date, with assay currently outstanding for all six holes.
The visible gold was encountered in holes QGQ23-13 through to QGQ24-15, which intersected the gold within quartz-carbonate and pyrite veins. Visible gold is said to have been identified intermittently within broad zones of alteration and veining, with the first example intersected at a depth of 32.0 metres within hole QGQ24-13. The gold encountered reportedly ranged in size from 0.5 to 3.0 mm.

“The presence of multiple visible gold intersections in the three drill holes at the Halo zone constitutes a new discovery on the property and a considerable step forward for this project. This adds to our previous successes where The Company has intersected gold mineralization in all holes to date, including multiple broad intercepts,” commented CEO Frank Callaghan.
Golden Cariboo last traded at $0.15 on the CSE.
