New Pacific Metals Approved To List On The NYSE

New Pacific Metals Corp. (TSX: NUAG) announced today that it has received approval to list its shares on the NYSE. The company expects to commence trading on the American big board on May 20.

The company will join the New York-based stock exchange under the ticker symbol “NEWP”. Its current listing on the OTCQX under the symbol “NUPMF” will trade until the closing bell of May 19.

Dr. Mark Cruise, CEO of New Pacific, said in a statement that the NYSE listing is a milestone as it works to “become a premier Latin America-focused precious metal explorer and developer.”

The company will continue to trade its shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange under “NUAG”.

New Pacific Metals Corp. last traded at $6.26 at the TSX.
