Omai Gold Intersects 6.6 G/T Gold Over 9.0 Metres At Wenot Pit
Omai Gold Mines Corp. (TSXV: OMG) announced today the results from its ongoing 5,000-metre drill program at the Wenot pit. Gold assays highlighted an intersect of 6.6 g/t gold over 9.0 metres from four completed holes in the program.
The mining company also shared drill results from its partially completed holes, including a highlight intersect of 36.2 g/t gold over 2.0 metres.
The Wenot pit is one of the two open pits at the wholly-owned Omai mine located in Guyana. The company owns Avalon Gold Exploration, which holds 100% ownership of the Omai prospecting license that covers 4,590 acres.
Omai Gold Mines last traded at $0.165 on the TSX Venture.
