Orla Mining Posts Q1 Gold Production Of 47,759 Ounces
Orla Mining (TSX: OLA) is reporting this morning that it saw record production levels in the first quarter of 2025, following its purchase of the Musselwhite Mine from Newmont.
The company in the first quarter saw total gold production of 47,759 ounces of gold, which includes 29,973 ounces of production at Camino Rojo, and 17,786 ounces of gold production at Musselwhite. The figures notably include only a single months production at Musselwhite, following Orla closing its purchase on February 28.
In terms of guidance, Camino Rojo is on track to hit previously issued guidance of 110,000 to 120,000 ounces of gold production in 2025. Revised guidance is expected to be issued in the near term that includes the Musselwhite Mine.
Gold sales during the quarter are said to have totaled 46,356 ounces, while Orla ended the quarter with a cash position of $184.2 million and net debt of $265.8 million.
Full first quarter financial results are expected to be released on May 9.
Orla Mining last traded at $14.79 on the TSX.
