Predictiv AI Partners With Sigfox For Global Sales & Distribution of ThermalPass

Predictive AI (TSXV: PAI), whom was formerly known as Internet of Things Inc, announced this morning that it has entered into a sales channel, distribution and technology integration partnership for Predictiv’s ThermalPass fever detection system with that of Sigfox Canada. Sigfox is the leading global service provider of internet of things (IoT) technology.

The arrangement between Sigfox and Predictiv will see ThermalPass integrated into the Sigfox 0G network, enabling the devices to conduct highly dependable data transfer through ThermalPass device. Such integrations will enable Predictiv to generate monthly recurring revenues through the technology by offering different enterprise scenarios.

The Sigfox global 0G network enables millions of internet-enabled devices to connect to the internet in a straightforward manner while limiting energy consumption. The network is currently available in 72 countries, with the chipsets currently used in over 16.2 million devices. The Sigfox network is the largest IoT network globally, with devices from massive manufacturers to local startups being involved within the network.

In addition to network connectivity, the partnership will see Sigfox become a global, non-exclusive distributor of ThermalPass. The company is expected to offer the device to other Sigfox operators across its vast global network.

Commercial launch of ThermalPass is said to be “soon approaching,” with the company continuing to work with Makel Engineering for the final completion of the device. Recent performance tests conducted on the latest version of the device have confirmed reliability and consistency of the system, making way for the installation of the device at high traffic locations, such as schools, offices, transit stations, government buildings and more.
