Pretium Resources Intersects 72.5 G/T Gold Over 53.5 Metres At Golden Marmot Zone

Pretium Resources Inc. (TSX: PVG) announced yesterday morning initial assays from the 2021 drill program conducted at Golden Marmot zone in Northern British Columbia. The results, coming from the first nine drill holes, highlighted an intersect of 72.5 g/t gold over 53.5 metres.

The 2021 drill program at the property consisted of 26 drill holes covering a total of 8,466 metres.

Highlights from the initial results include:

  • SU-786: 72.5 g/t gold over 53.5 metres
    • including 6700.0 g/t gold over 0.5 metres, and 787 g/t gold over 0.5 metres
  • SU-772: 22.8 g/t gold over 38.0 metres
  • SU-778: 46.1 g/t gold over 5.8 metres

The mining firm relayed that a 2011 drilling at the property assayed 2.8 g/t gold over 17.3 metres, including 23 g/t gold over 1.3 metres.

Pretium Resources last traded at $13.99 on the TSX.
