Riverside Resources Samples 83.2 g/t Gold, 4,816 g/t Silver At La Union

Riverside Resources (TSXV: RRI) this morning released results from its recent exploration program conducted at its La Union Project, which is located in Sonora, Mexico. The exploration program consisted of a field mapping and sampling program.

The purpose of the exploration program was for the firm to better understanding the properties structural controls, and how small historical workings linked together in a regional context. Currently, the firm is operating under the belief the property contains Pre-Cambrian to Cambrian sedimentary rocks, with mineralization to be manto-chimney and replacement type.

A total of 103 samples were collected from the property under the program conducted, with the highlight result containing 83.2 g/t gold. The firm outlined the highpoints of a number of samples, which include:

  • Gold high value of 83.2 g/t
  • Silver high value of 4,816 g/t
  • Lead high value of 10.3%
  • Zinc high value of 30.0%, which was the upper detection limit

Sample types collected included dump, chips, and chip channels.

Commenting on the results, CEO John-Mark Staude stated, “We recently expanded the property package here to more than 26 km2 and our ongoing field work is expected to include a geophysical survey and additional mapping and sampling while we advance permitting in tandem with preparation for a maiden drill program in 2022.
