Seabridge Gold (TSX: SEA) has released further assay results from the 2025 exploration program conducted at their Snip North Deposit, which is part of the Iskut project.
Wide intervals of consistent gold and copper mineralization were intersected under the program, further expanding the area defined by mineralization. The strike length at the deposit has now been expanded to 2,100 metres, with 600 metres of dip projection and up to 700 metres width.
Mineralization to date is said to show a “large and robust” porphyry copper-gold system is present.
Highlights from the results include:
- SN-25-34: 0.52 g/t gold, 0.13% copper, 1.8 g/t silver and 114 ppm molybdenum over 538.9 metres from a depth of 2.1 metres
- SN-25-38: 0.57 g/t gold, 0.05% copper, 1.2 g/t silver and 10 ppm molybdenum over 392.5 metres from a depth of 531.0 metres
- SN-25-39: 0.44 g/t gold, 0.13% copper, 1.0 g/t silver and 121 ppm molybdenum over 555.7 metres from a depth of 3.3 metres
- SN-25-42: 0.60 g/t gold, 0.06% copper, 1.5 g/t silver and 9 ppm molybdenum over 719.0 metres from a depth of 317.0 metres
- SN-25-44: 0.93 g/t gold, 0.11% copper, 9.5 g/t silver and 2 ppm molybdenum over 137.4 metres from a depth of 315.0 metres
“Snip North continues to evolve as a large porphyry mineral system. Intensity and scale of the deposit give us confidence that a significant maiden resource estimate can be achieved in early 2026. While drilling has recently concluded, we continue to receive new assays and advance our modeling. The limits of mineralization have not yet been defined, remaining open at depth to the northwest and along strike to the north and west,” commented Rudi Fronk, CEO of Seabridge Gold.
