Sitka Gold (TSXV: SIG) has released assays from four more diamond drill holes at its RC Gold project in the Yukon. The results include one of the strongest intercepts drilled to date at the Saddle Zone.
Hole DDRCCC-26-156 returned 236.0 metres of 1.15 g/t gold starting at 341.0 metres downhole. Two higher grade cores within that interval carry most of the grade, and mineralization continues to the bottom of the interval at 577.0 metres.
Highlight results from the release include the following.
- DDRCCC-26-156: 1.15 g/t gold over 236.0 metres from a depth of 341.0 metres
- Including 2.79 g/t gold over 71.0 metres from a depth of 443.0 metres
- Including 3.31 g/t gold over 36.3 metres from a depth of 477.7 metres
- Including 1.11 g/t gold over 34.0 metres from a depth of 543.0 metres
- DDRCCC-26-150: 1.16 g/t gold over 45.5 metres from a depth of 182.5 metres
- Including 9.26 g/t gold over 4.5 metres from a depth of 205.0 metres
- And 1.95 g/t gold over 16.4 metres from a depth of 303.6 metres
- Including 13.45 g/t gold over 1.5 metres from a depth of 303.6 metres
- DDRCCC-26-155: 2.36 g/t gold over 18.1 metres from a depth of 287.0 metres
- Including 13.65 g/t gold over 1.6 metres from a depth of 303.4 metres
The Saddle Zone sits inside the existing Blackjack pit shell, but the current resource model classifies it as waste. This year’s drilling there has repeatedly returned broad mineralized intervals, which could add tonnage to the next Blackjack estimate.

At Eiger, step-out holes 150 and 155 returned higher grades than the deposit has historically produced. The company says this points to a higher grade zone that may be developing as mineralization extends west toward Saddle. The pit limits of the two deposits are currently about 200 metres apart.
Drilling also traced a lamprophyre dyke, which the company interprets as a main conduit for gold, continuously from Blackjack through Saddle and into Eiger. That covers roughly 2 kilometres.
“Together, these results support our view that Blackjack, Saddle and Eiger may ultimately form one larger, continuous gold system,” said CEO Cor Coe. He added that the drill program, now nearing completion, will effectively double the total diamond drilling completed at RC Gold.
The results follow a September release in which hole DDRCCC-26-133 at Blackjack returned 141.5 metres of 1.93 g/t gold, including 80.6 metres of 3.20 g/t gold.
About 58,000 metres have now been drilled in 143 holes, out of a planned 60,000 metre program for 2026. Results for 84 holes are still pending, and 6 rigs are currently turning. Sitka plans to release an updated mineral resource estimate once the program wraps up.
Sitka Gold last traded at $0.96 on the TSX Venture.
