Skylight Health Names New Chairman Of The Board
Skylight Health Group (TSXV: SHG) this morning announced changes to its board of directors. The company has appointed Patrick McNamee as the new chairman of the board, whom will succeed Norton Singhavon, whom will be remaining as a director of the company.
McNamee reportedly comes highly experienced both as a director as well as an executive. Most recently, he took on the role of President and CEO of Health Insurance Innovations, wherein he turned the company around following a poor IPO. Previously, he served as the EVP and COO of Express Scripts, where he had a role in “major activities” of the pharmacy benefit management firm.
Most importantly, at Express Scripts, McNamee led the integration of a $4.0 billion acquisition, as well as a $29 billion acquisition, experience which will prove useful for a firm that is growing via acquisitions. He currently holes a Master of Science in electrical engineer and computer sciences from Marquette University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineer from the same university.
Skylight Health last traded at $1.30 on the TSX Venture.
