SPC Nickel Releases Maiden Resource Boasting 224.8 Million Lbs Indicated Contained Nickel

SPC Nickel Corp (TSXV: SPC) has released a maiden mineral resource estimate for its West Graham Project, which is part of its nickel-copper Lockerby East property, found in the Sudbury Basin.

The mineral resource estimate outlines that the project has 224.8 million pounds indicated of contained nickel, and 155.0 million pounds indicated of contained copper. The Lockerby East project also boasts 86.2 million pounds inferred of contained nickel and 57.5 million pounds inferred of contained copper.

The estimate contains both in-pit and out-of-pit resources, with the pit design extending to a depth of 435 metres. The in-pit resource amounts to indicated resources of 19.3 million tonnes at 0.42% nickel and 0.28% copper, as well well as inferred resources of 3.3 million tonnes at 0.37% nickel and 0.28% copper, using a 0.30% nickel equivalent cut-off grade.

The maiden resource follows the company conducting a diamond drill program in 2023 on the property that saw a total of 14,180 metres in aggregate drilled across a total of 67 holes. The program followed the company consolidating the project through an agreement with Vale Canada.

SPC Nickel last traded at $0.06 on the TSX Venture.
