Additional assay results are in from Terra Balcanica (CSE: TERA), whom this morning released results from a single drill hole conducted at the Cumavici Ridge target at its Viogor-Zanik project in Bosnia and Herzevogina.

Highlights from the results include:

  • CMVDD003: 4.15 metres 53 g/t silver, 0.64 g/t gold, 2.99% lead, 0.73% antimony, 4.12% zinc, or 457 g/t silver equivalent.

The results are said to point to a wider down-dip continuation of previously reported high grade mineralization, which includes 1,168 g/t silver equivalent over 1.35 metres, as reported in hole CMV23004. The mineralized vein intercept is said to remain open and untested at depth to the southwest.

The intercept, along with other recent drilling, has now expanded the strike length at Cumavici Ridge to over 600 metres, which remains open along strike and depth. Further exploration is planned to the step out to the northwest.

“The latest drill intercept reaffirms both continuity and silver-dominated polymetallic grades continuously intercepted at the Cumavici Ridge target. Together with the 600 m northwesterly step out zone, the central Ridge area now forms a potentially continuous half a kilometer long mineralized footprint where hypothesized shallow, vein-hosted massive sulphides await drill confirmation,” commented CEO Aleksander Miskovic.

Further assays remain pending from the Cumavici Ridge target, in addition to results from drilling conducted at the Brezani, where five drill holes were conducted. Drilling Brezzani focused on step out holes within an 800 metre strike length in a region that last year intersected 88 metres of 0.61 g/t silver equivalent from surface.

Terra Balcanica Resources last traded at $0.055 on the CSE.
