Total Metals (TSXV: TT) has released the first set of assay results from its winter drill program at the Electrolode critical metals project in northwestern Ontario.
The assays come from the first ten holes of a 25 hole, 8,408 metre program completed early in 2026, with the work concentrated on the Arrow and Garnet zones. Several intervals came in above the average grade of the existing resource, and a handful of subintervals pushed well past it.
Highlights from the results include:
- EL-26-006: 7.81% zinc, 1.90% copper, 0.72 g/t gold and 56.51 g/t silver over 4.30 metres from a depth of 409.20 metres
- EL-26-006: 8.40% zinc, 0.40% copper, 0.35 g/t gold and 21.88 g/t silver over 4.00 metres from a depth of 433.00 metres
- EL-26-003A: 7.00% zinc, 0.47% copper, 0.25 g/t gold and 32.73 g/t silver over 7.18 metres from a depth of 341.00 metres
- EL-26-004: 3.85% zinc, 0.50% copper, 0.19 g/t gold and 18.59 g/t silver over 9.75 metres from a depth of 371.80 metres

“These initial results from our winter drill program at Electrolode are highly encouraging and underscore the exceptional potential of the Arrow Zone,” said Tyler Thorburn, President and Chief Executive Officer. He pointed to the copper-rich mineralization in the hanging wall as a sign of “future potential” layered on top of the zinc work.
The Arrow Zone carries a current inferred resource of 2.11 million tonnes grading 0.66% copper, 4.74% zinc, 17.92 g/t silver and 0.66 g/t gold. A number of the new holes exceeded those average grades, with several narrow subintervals topping 20% zinc and one stretch running 38.20% zinc over 0.42 metres.

Drilling into the Garnet Zone returned more sporadic mineralization, and the company said those results reduce the likelihood of continuity between Garnet and Arrow. The best Garnet intercept was 2.93% zinc over 3.17 metres.
Total Metals also flagged elevated gallium and indium in some intercepts, though it cautioned that further analytical and mineralogical work is needed to determine recovery rates.
Total Metals last traded at $0.305 on the TSX Venture.
