Vizsla Silver Sees Resource Estimate Grow To 155.8 Million Ounces Of Indicated Silver Equivalent
Vizsla Silver (TSXV: VZLA) is reporting this morning a sizeable increase to its mineral resource estimate for its Panuco silver-gold project in Sinaloa Mexico.
The revised resource estimate has seen tonnage increase by 2.0 million tonnes in the indicated category, and 5.0 million tonnes in the inferred category. The estimate breaks down as follows:
- Silver: 88.2 million ounces of indicated resources at 289 g/t, 93.7 million ounces of inferred resources at 239 g/t
- Gold: 736,000 ounces of indicated resources at 2.41 g/t, 758,000 ounces of inferred resources at 1.93 g/t
- Lead: 25.4 thousand tonnes indicated resources at 0.27%, 35.4 thousand tonnes of inferred resources at 1.090.29%
- Zinc: 79.9 thousand tonnes indicated resources at 0.84%, 125.3 thousand tonnes of inferred resources at 1.03%
The resource estimate has seen indicated mineral resources increase by 48.7% to 155.8 million ounces of silver equivalent, while inferred resources have increased by 48.7% to 169.6 million ounces of silver equivalent. The indicated resource grade meanwhile has increased to 511 g/t silver equivalent.
The estimate, which is broken down on a vein by vein basis, is said to amount to less than 10% of the known vein strike at the property, with 11 epithermal veins in total being included in the estimate. A total of 8 kilometres worth of veins are factored into the estimate.
