Alex Jones Slams Trump’s Easter Message, Says He’s Not the Leader MAGA Voted For

Alex Jones, the controversial media figure and long-time supporter of Donald Trump, has publicly criticized the former president, claiming he has morphed into a leader unrecognizable to the MAGA movement that backed him. In a recent video message, Jones expressed deep concern over Trump’s erratic behavior, particularly citing a profanity-laced Easter message directed at Iran that included references to Allah and aggressive rhetoric about bombing power plants and bridges.

Jones described Trump’s actions as a stark departure from the values and demeanor that initially rallied his base. He pointed to the Easter message as particularly troubling, where Trump reportedly demanded Iran ‘open the f*cking Strait’ while announcing military strikes on critical infrastructure like the B1 Bridge, Iran’s tallest.

‘This is not the old Trump,’ Jones stated emphatically, arguing that such rhetoric alienates supporters and damages America’s global standing.

The criticism extends beyond mere style to substantive policy concerns. Jones argued that Trump’s approach to Iran, including the bombing of bridges and power plants, only unifies the Iranian people against the U.S. and Israel while hurting civilians rather than achieving strategic goals. He called the military tactics a ‘horrible’ misstep in winning hearts and minds, warning that the closure of the Strait of Hormuz is already battering the global economy through disrupted oil flows.

Adding to the chorus of concern, former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene echoed Jones’ alarm in a pointed social media post. She urged Christians in Trump’s administration to ‘fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God’ for failing to curb what she termed Trump’s ‘madness’ on Easter morning. Her comments reflect a growing unease among some conservative voices about the direction of Trump’s leadership.

Jones also tied Trump’s foreign policy missteps to domestic economic pain, noting that increased oil prices and fertilizer shortages—exacerbated by the Iran conflict—are driving inflation. He accused elements within Trump’s circle, including ‘never Trumpers’ like Mark Levin, of steering policy in a disastrous direction contrary to the economic recovery plan Trump campaigned on.

‘We were on the edge of bankruptcy,’ Jones warned, stressing that the current path derails the financial stability his supporters expected.

In a plea for de-escalation, Jones called for public pressure to push Trump away from war with Iran, though he admitted to having little hope for a reversal. He highlighted small victories, such as Trump’s decision not to fire Tulsi Gabbard and considerations to appoint Ed Martin to a key role, as potential lifelines for salvaging some of his original vision. Still, his overriding message was one of worry for both Trump and the nation.

Jones closed his Easter message with a broader call for world peace, invoking the risen Christ and lamenting the influence of Israel on U.S. foreign policy.
