Banyan Gold Begins 30,000 Metre Drill Program At AurMac
Banyan Gold (TSXV: BYN) has begun its drill program for the 2022 season. Drilling is to commence at its flagship AurMac property, located in Yukon, Canada.
The planned drill program is to consist of 30,000 metres in aggregate that will look to expand the current Powerline Deposit, before the program shifts to the Aurex Hill target in the late summer.
Drilling at Powerline will focus on extending mineralization discovered last year beyond the current resource at the deposit. A gold trend extending 1.2 kilometres was found last year, with this year’s program to focus on the continued drilling of this zone to the east and west of the current deposit.
Three diamond drills are currently contracted to carry out the program at the property, while the company has indicated it is also still awaiting results from the prior program that finished in late December.
Banyan Gold last traded at $0.34 on the TSX Venture.
