Banyan Intersects 84.5 Metres Of 1.32 g/t Gold At AurMac

Banyan Gold (TSXV: BYN) this morning reported further assay results from its Powerline Deposit at its Aurmac Property in Yukon. The results consist of a total of five drill holes conducted in 2021.

Highlight results from the program include:

  • AX-21-151: 1.32 g/t gold over 84.5 metres
  • AX-21-136: 0.43 g/t gold over 79.7 metres
  • AX-21-159: 0.60 g/t gold over 51.8 metres

Drilling was conducted on 100 metre centres as the firm continues to prove out the deposit. The firm continues to work to expand the deposit, with the total footprint stated to be two kilometres by two kilometres. Further drilling is set to resume shortly at the property as the firm looks to expand it further.

Banyan completed a total of 30,091 metres of drilling over 135 drill holes in 2021, the results of which are still pending for 63 holes. An additional 30,000 metres are currently slated to be drilled across the firms property in 2022, with exploration to be split between Powerline and Aurex Hill.
