Datametrex Awarded Tender To Supply 2,000 COVID-19 Test Kits

Datametrex AI (TSXV: DM) appears to have a sales pipeline in the mining sector. This morning the company announced that it has been awarded a tender by an undisclosed Quebec-based mining firm for the supply of an initial 2,000 COVID-19 test kits, its second such arrangement with a mining operation.

The supply arrangement entered into by Datametrex will see the mining firm utilize detection kits manufactured by 1drop Inc, with all related testing to be provided through Datametrex’s strategic partnership with Transpharm Canada. That partnership essentially allows the firm to offer a full suite of testing products and services, enabling a smooth process for the client.

All of the required test kits for the order have already been secured from the manufacturer, and will be shipped directly to that of Transpharm whom will conduct all necessary testing. As is the typical case, Datametrex anticipates having little to not upfront costs associated with the transaction.

A timeline for the delivery of the products was not provided, however it is anticipated to close in the near term.
