David Beckham Takes 10% Stake In Electric Car Firm Lunaz

English football pro David Beckham is reportedly investing in UK-based electric car firm Lunaz. The former midfielder has taken 10% of the company, albeit no hard figures were disclosed related to the investment.

Founded in 2019, Lunaz has been electrifying classic cars from Rolls-Royce, Jaguar, Bentley, and Range Rover. Among its works are the 1961 Rolls-Royce by Lunaz Phantom V and Silver Cloud and the 1961 Bentley Continental Flying Spur by Lunaz.

The company reported that the former England captain invested in Lunaz through his own investment firm, DB Ventures. Beckham joins the group of Lunaz investors which include the Reuben and Barclay families and Alexander Dellal, as well as the founding investors Navid Mirtorabi and Christopher Jones.

The UK government has previously announced its plans to ban new fossil fuel vehicles by 2030 in an attempt to accelerate the shift to electric vehicles.
