Digihost Mines 44.07 Bitcoin In August 2021

Digihost Technology Inc. (TSXV: DGHI) announced this morning that the company has produced 44.07 bitcoin in August 2021. This is a slight dip from July 2021’s production of 51.28 bitcoin.

The monthly production brings the quarter-to-date yield to 95.35 bitcoin, with a month to go to close Q3. In Q2 2021, the firm was able to mine 109.97 bitcoin.

“We are proud of the tremendous growth in our mining operations, as we are on track to mine a higher fair market value of Bitcoin in Q3 compared to any previous quarter to-date,” said Digihost CEO Michel Amar.

The bitcoin mined for the month also puts the company’s total holdings to 446.2 bitcoin, valued at roughly US$22.8 million as of writing.

On the other hand, the blockchain firm reported a total of 563.89 ethereum held as of the end of the month, approximately valued at US$2.1 million as of writing.

Furthermore, the company reported US$18.9 million cash on hand and US$41.7 million in total cash and digital assets. Currently mining at 200 PH/s hashrate, the crypto firm relayed its plans to expand to 3.6 EH/s by the end of the first half of 2022.

Digihost Technology last traded at $2.27 on the TSX Venture.
