Digihost Mines 109.98 Bitcoin For Q2 2021

Digihost Technology Inc. (TSXV: DGHI) announced this morning that the company has mined 38.22 bitcoin in June 2021, bringing its total for Q2 2021 to 109.98 bitcoin mined. This is an increase from the 105.26 bitcoin mined in Q1 2021.

The bitcoin mined for June 2021 brings the company’s balance to 351.36 bitcoin at the end of the quarter, valued at roughly $14.9 billion as of writing.

The blockchain company also received bitcoin as consideration for the sale of its older generation mining machines. These were then used to purchase ethereum, bring the company’s ethereum balance to 563.89 at the end of Q2 2021.

The company also relayed that it acquired 9,900 bitcoin miners to increase its hashrate by 925PH. It also formed a collaboration with Bit Digital USA to increase its combined hashrates by 400PH.

In May 2021, the company reported Q1 2021 revenue at $4.8 million and net income at $5.9 million

Digihost Technology last traded at $1.54 on the TSX Venture.
