DMG Blockchain (TSXV: DMG) appears to be having some difficulties with its year end financial results. The firm late last night announced a delay in the filing of the results.
In making the announcement, the company advised that its external auditors “require additional time to complete its internal review and audit procedures.” The company did not indicate specifically what is slowing down the auditors from completing the task, saying only that they will not be ready by the deadline of January 28, 2022.
The financial results are for the firms 2021 fiscal year, which ended on September 30, 2021.
As a result of the delay and to avoid needing to halt its equity from trading, the company has indicated it will be requesting a management cease trade order from the British Columbia Securities Commission.
A date for the expected filing of the results was not provided by the company.
DMG Blockchain last traded at $0.66 on the TSX Venture.
