Dolly Varden Hits 1,422 g/t Silver Over 21.7 Metres At Kitsault Valley

Dolly Varden Silver (TSXV: DV) has seen success from their ongoing exploration program at their Kitsault Valley project in British Columbia. The firm this morning released the latest assay results from the Wolf Vein, where they have been conducted directional drilling.

Highlights from the results include:

  • DV25-446: 1,422 g/t silver, 0.51 g/t gold, 3.05% lead and 1.42% zinc over 21.70 metres from a depth of 816.30 metres
    • Including 10,700 g/t silver, 2.54 g/t gold, 4.33% lead and 1.68% zinc over 1.00 metre

High grade silver mineralization was encountered in hole DV25-446, with mineralization intersected 105 metres up-dip from the furthest down plunge step-out. Gold and base metal grades were found to increase at depth and closer to the project central valley structure. Drilling at the Wolf Vein is focused on expanding and infilling the plunge of the high grade mineralization, with the deposit remaining open to depth.

“These high-grade silver results over wide intervals suggest excellent continuity at the Wolf Vein. The mineralization in drill hole DV25-446 includes abundant native silver and is consistent with the robust style of mineralization with a significant increase in associated gold and base metal values. Additional drilling at Wolf is being prioritized for the remainder of the season,” commented Shawn Khunkhun, CEO of Dolly Varden Silver.

An ongoing 55,000 metre drill program is being conducted across Dolly Varden’s Kitsault Valley and Big Bulk projects, with five diamond drills currently operational. A primary focus of the program has been step out and infill drilling of the Wolf Vein as well as the Homestake Silver deposit.

Dolly Varden Silver last traded at $5.44 on the TSX Venture.
