Else Nutrition Gets Product On To Shelves Of Second Largest Private US Supermarket Chain

Else Nutrition (TSX: BABY) has again expanded its distribution in the United States, adding one of the largest supermarket operators to its distribution network.

While Else again did not directly name the retailer, true to tradition they included a photo of their company’s product in front of signage for H-E-B Fresh Foods as a means of discretely telling investors the latest distribution point.

H-E-B is a Texas-based independent grocer with over 420 locations found across the US and Mexico. The company is ranked as the fifth largest private company and second largest private supermarket operator in the US as per Forbes, with annual sales of $43 billion.

The independent grocer is expected to carry Else’s kids and toddler product lines, including its lineup of ready-to-drink products. Product is scheduled to hit store shelves by the end of Q2 2024.

“This is a major development for Else, placing our core products at one of the largest supermarket operators in North America—significantly expanding our U.S. footprint to reach millions of new potential customers,” commented Else CEO Hamutal Yitzhak.

The distribution expansion follows the company securing space in midwestern-US retailer Meijer and Ontario-focused retailer Longo’s earlier this month.

Else Nutrition last traded at $0.29 on the TSX.
