Else Nutrition Receives Patent For Formulation Composition Of Infant And Toddler Formula
Else Nutrition Holdings (CSE: BABY) this morning put out a brief release, indicating that the firm has secured a Canadian patent for its infant and toddler food formulation composition for use in a non-dairy formula. The Canadian patent effectively serves as a follow-up to the patent portfolio already held by the company.
The patent, Registration No.: 2,898,980, reportedly provides the composition of the proteins, amino-acids and other nutrients needed in a single food serving for a whole balanced nutrition. The granting of the patent follows a worldwide patent already held by the company that covers its plant-based formulations.
The firm has stated that it remains focused on the launch of their products, however, the patent will provide further opportunity for the $3.0 billion plant-based food market in Canada.
Else Nutrition last traded at $3.64 on the CSE.
