F3 Uranium Assays 2.66% U3O8 Over 10.5 Metres At JR Zone
F3 Uranium (TSXV: FUU) continues to hit high grade uranium at its PLN property in the Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan. The latest results come from a set of thirteen drillhole assays from a currently ongoing drill program.
Highlights from the results include:
- PLN24-161: 2.66% U3O8 over 10.5 metres from a depth of 206.5 metres, including 12.0% U3O8 over 2.0 metres
- PLN24-163: 0.45% U3O8 over 13.0 metres from a depth of 197.0 metres, including 1.77% U3O8 over 2.5 metres
Both assays released come from the JR Zone, while further results from drilling were released in the form of spectrometer results, with assays still pending. Highlights from the spectrometer results include:
- PLN24-184: 13.5 metres of mineralization at a depth of 228.5 metres, including 3.80 metres of >10,000 cps radioactivity at a depth of 233.0 metres
- PLN24-185: 13.0 metres of mineralization at a depth of 218.0 metres, including 2.30 metres of >10,000 cps radioactivity at a depth of 223.0 metres
“Today’s update includes scintillometer results of drilling in the JR Zone, where three holes successfully targeted high grade mineralization in areas of lower drill hole density, as well as high-grade assay results of drillholes completed and previously announced earlier in the program,” commented Sam Hartmann, VP of Exploration.
The company is also said to have intersected a southern extension of the A1 shear zone, which hosts the JR Zone. The A1 Shear Extension is found 400 metres beyond the previously interpreted southern extent of the shear.
F3 Uranium last traded at $0.26 on the TSX Venture.
