Field Trip Health (CSE: FTRP) is going to Amsterdam. The company announced this morning that it has selected the city as its next location to launch a Field Trip Health Centre. The centre, unlike other locations, will be focused on the therapeutic use of psychedelics using legal truffles.
The company has entered into a lease for a building for the endeavor already, with the centre said to look over the IJhaven River. The company has identified that it expects to begin accepting people into the application process for the program next month, while the centre itself is anticipated to open in March 2021.
Therapeutic programs offered by the facility are to use legal truffles that contain psilocybin, with a number of programs expected to be offered. The company has also indicated that program will be available for individuals as well as couples. Treatments are to be provided by accredited and licensed therapists and psychologists, while being overseen by a licensed psychiatrist to provide a professionalized experience while generating broader medical acceptance.
