Gatekeeper Systems Expands Alliance In State Of Arizona, Secures Contract
Gatekeeper Systems (TSXV: GSI) is expanding to another state within the US. The firm this morning revealed it has expanded an alliance it has in place with Canyon State Bus Sales Inc, which will create a strategic growth opportunity for the company within the state of Arizona.
The arrangement with Canyon State will see the company provide sales, support, and installation services for the current suite of product offerings from Gatekeeper intended for the school bus market. Canyon State Bus is currently a preferred school bus provider within the state, and is a Blue Bird OEM dealer.
As a first step under this expanded alliance, the company has secured a purchase order valued at $95,000. The order is for the third largest school district in the state, Chandler Unified School District, and will see the company provide video solutions for the district. Both the installation and related support services are to be facilitated by Canyon State Bus.
“We are very pleased to work with Canyon State Bus to ensure that Gatekeeper’s solutions are well represented in this expanding region, and we are very proud to now have our school bus solutions deployed by the third largest school district in the state,” said Doug Dyment, CEO of Gatekeeper.
The expanded alliance follows a robust March, which saw the company secure three separate purchase orders. The first order, at $0.6 million in size, saw the launch of a new product by the company, which was closely followed by a second order valued at $0.3 million. The company then closed out the month with a third order, valued at $0.9 million.
Gatekeeper Systems last traded at $0.52 on the TSX Venture.
