Gatekeeper Systems Closes Out March With Third Purchase Order, Pegged At $0.9 Million

Purchase orders continue to flow in for Gatekeeper Systems (TSXV: GSI). The company last night capped off the month of March by revealing it had received a third significant purchase order during the month.

The latest purchase order comes from the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority, whom is looking to procur ethernet switches and software configurations for its new bus fleet. The Authority is looking to obtain the material to enable wireless connectivity on its vehicles, while also upgrading its office servers.

The installation is expected to begin this month, with the purchase order amounts to C$915,000, the largest such order seen by the company during the month of March.

Receipt of the purchase order follows a $335,000 contract obtained for the firms new mobile wi-fi system designed for installation of school buses from an undisclosed school district. And that order followed the first such order for the new system being offered by Gatekeeper, which came in at $560,000, with the order coming from a separate school district.

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority is said to be one of the largest such authorities in the US, providing transit services to a total of five counties within the Greater Philadelphia region, while also connecting to systems in two other states.

Gatekeeper Systems last traded at $0.49 on the TSX Venture.
