Beleave Inc (CSE: BE) announced this morning that it has appointed Jeannette VanderMarel as the Chief Executive Officer of the firm effective today. Former CEO Bill Panagiotakopoulos will return to the role of Chief Operations Officer for the firm.
VanderMarel previously served as the co-CEO of 48North Cannabis Co (TSXV: NRTH), following the acquisition of her private firm Good & Green, where she still currently serves as a director. Prior to her tenure at 48North, she was a co-founder of The Green Organic Dutchman (TSX: TGOD). Within both roles, VanderMarel was heavily focused on organically grown cannabis, as a result of her commitment to wellness and health. Following her entrance to the cannabis sector, VanderMarel has become a common keynote speaker and advocate for the space.
