Kid Rock Still Really Loves Bud Light

Early in July, the Deep Dive wrote about how Kid Rock may not really hate Bud Light as much as he makes it appear when it was discovered that he was still selling the beer at his Nashville bar. Now it looks like shooting up the cases was just for show as he was recently spotted drinking a can of the controversial drink.

Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, raised some eyebrows as he was seen enjoying a can of Bud Light at a Colt Ford concert in Nashville, Tennessee — captured in photos recently released by TMZ

This scene comes just a few months after Kid Rock made headlines by filming himself firing an assault rifle at cases of Bud Light in a controversial video. In the video, he vehemently expressed his disdain for Bud Light and its parent company, Anheuser-Busch, while wearing a MAGA hat.

Kid Rock’s earlier video was a reaction to transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney’s collaboration with Bud Light, where she was featured on a can to promote the brand’s March Madness contest. The partnership led to backlash from conservative figures and celebrities, with some even calling for a boycott of the beer company.

Critics have labeled Ritchie a “hypocrite,” expressing surprise and disappointment at his change in behavior. Some conservative voices, who were previously aligned with Kid Rock’s views, feel betrayed by his choice to drink Bud Light after his vocal opposition.

While others, not surprisingly, are in total denial.

This guy even felt compelled to release a statement.
