Lundin Mining Fined For Massive Sinkhole

Well folks, another mining disaster has come to a close.

Lundin Mining (TSX: LUN) on Friday announced it has finally been fined by the government of Chile in relation to something that occurred at one of its mines back in 2022. While it isn’t a massive fine by any stretch of the imagination, it is another black mark on a sector that desperately does not need any more black marks.
