Northern Vertex Reports 1.63 G/T Gold, 18.27 G/T Silver Over 30.48 Metres At Hercules

Northern Vertex Mining (TSXV: NEE) this morning released drill results from its recently acquired Hercules project in Lyon County, Nevada. Highlights from the program include 1.63 g/t gold and 18.27 g/t silver over 30.48 metres in hole H20031.

Drill results come from a drill program conducted last year by that of Eclipse Gold, whom recently merged with Northern Vertex despite dissatisfaction from numerous shareholders. The program consisted of a total of 28 holes, drilled to an aggregate depth of 7,320 metres. The project itself is situated on the Walker Lane Trend, which also features the firms Moss Mine in Arizona.

Drilling was primarily focused on the Hercules and Cliffs targets, with known mineralization extended to the east at the latter target, while a single drill hole conducted between the two targets also yielded positive results of 0.33 g/t gold and 8.45 g/t silver of 18.29 metres.

Highlights from the program include:

  • H20026: 0.63 g/t gold, 8.19 g/t silver over 28.96 metres
  • H20029: 0.44 g/t gold, 4.31 g/t silver over 30.48 metres
  • H20031: 1.63 g/t gold, 18.27 g/t silver over 30.48 metres
  • H20036: 3.19 g/t gold, 2.45 g/t silver over 3.05 metres
  • H20037: 1.80 g/t gold, 16.94 g/t silver over 18.29 metres
  • H20038: 1.12 g/t gold, 8.51 g/t silver over 18.29 metres

True widths are estimated to be between 70% to 90%. Further results can be found here.

Northern Vertex last traded at $0.40 on the TSX Venture.
