Santacruz Silver Sees 2024 Production Remain Flat Year Over Year At 18.7 Million Silver Equivalent Ounces
Santacruz Silver (TSXV: SCZ) has released production results for the fourth quarter of 2024. The quarter saw the company produce a total of 4.7 million silver equivalent ounces, a margin 1.4% improvement in production versus the third quarter.
Production during the quarter amounted to 1.8 million ounces of silver, 23,357 tonnes of zinc, 2,932 tonnes of lead and 248 tonnes of copper. Underground development meanwhile totaled 11,168 metres.
For the full year, Santacruz produced a total of 18.7 million silver equivalent ounces, which was flat year on year versus the 18.8 million silver equivalent ounces produced in 2023. Production for the full year consisted of 6.7 million ounces of silver, 94,400 tonnes of zinc, 11,820 tonnes of lead and 1,058 tonnes of copper.

Santacruz saw production declines nearly across the board on a year over year basis, with actual silver production declining 4% year over year from 7.0 million ounces, while lead production fell 4% and copper production fell 16%. Only the production of zinc improved, which increased by 3% over 2023.
Santacruz Silver last traded at $0.34 on the TSX Venture.
