Silvercorp Intersects 3,911 G/T Silver Over 2.49 Metres At TLP Mine, China

Silvercorp Metals Inc. (TSX: SVM) (NYSE: SVM) today released the results coming from the company’s 2021 exploration program at the TLP mine within the Ying Mining District, Henan Province, China.

At present, 13 rigs are drilling at the TLP mine. From the period of October 1, 2020, to date, a total of 196 diamond drill holes have been completed at the TLP mine. Assay results for all but 3 holes have been received, with 108 of those holes intercepting mineralization.

  • Hole ZKG6AT15W304 intersected a 2.49 meter interval of vein T15W2 grading 3,911 g/t silver, 6.22% lead, 2.11% zinc, 0.08 g/t gold and 0.55% copper, including a 0.97 meter interval grading at 9,901 g/t silver, 15.30% lead, 5.27% zinc, 0.19 g/t gold, and 1.39% copper.
  • Hole ZKG6AT15W305 intersected an 1.62 meter interval of vein T15W3 grading 1,556 g/t silver, 15.27% lead, 0.24% zinc, 0.10 g/t gold, and 0.23% copper.
  • Hole ZKT3AT1W101 intersected a 4.00 meter interval of vein T23 grading 771 g/t silver, 11.68% lead, 0.23% zinc, 0.08 g/t gold, and 0.11% copper.

On top of the drilling program, 4,526 meters of drift tunneling has been developed at the mine. The exploration tunneling consisted of drifting, cross-cutting and raising, and was taken across and along major mineralized vein structures to upgrade the drill defined mineral resources and test for new parallel and splay structures.
