SKRR Exploration Mobilizes For Fall 2020 Drill Program At Olson Project

SKRR Exploration (TSXV: SKRR) this morning announced that it has begun mobilization of crews and field equipment for the fall drill program at the Olson property, following field work that was conducted late this summer. The drill program is to consist of 1,850 metres, with a total of 12 drill holes planned at three separate targets on the property.

The drill program is to focus on the Jena-Juba Area first and foremost, where the field program earlier this year outlined a strike length of over 1 kilometre. grab samples collected for the project have returned values as high as 15.7 g/t gold, making this area a priority for SKRR.

Historic drilling conducted on the zone, of which there was a single hole with a value of 0.86 /t gold over 3.87 metres, is believed to have missed the main structure based on further mapping and structural interpretation. Three drill sites have been outlined for the area as a result.

The second target is that of the Point-Tuscan area of the Olsen property, where grab samples collected in 2018 revealed highlight values of 45.1 g/t gold. Four holes are planned to be drilled at Point, where SKRR intends to test a sheeted vein system. Two holes will then be drilled at Tuscan, targeting anomalies found via soil sampling this summer.

The last target area is the Siskin Area, where a previously unreported structure was discovered during the 2020 field program. Drill holes here are planned to intersect down-plunge extensions of the surface mineralization that was discovered. A total of three holes are planned for this zone.

The Olson Project historically has seen a total of 4,500 metres of drilling occur on the property, via a total of 61 holes. The majority of the drilling has been focused elsewhere on the property, with the last program being conducted in 2008. While the company has identified numerous targets on the 5,835 hectare property, SKRR is currently focused on the central portion. SKRR currently operates the property under an option agreement with Eagle Plains Resources, under which it may earn an interest of up to 75% oin the property.

SKRR Exploration last traded at $0.32 on the TSX Venture.
